How to Install and Run Speaker Compass CRM on an iPad.

Speaker Compass is a FileMaker template. That means you need the Free FileMaker Go app on your iPad, or FileMaker Pro on your computer.

To run Speaker Compass on an iPad, download the free FileMaker Go app from Apple's App store to your iPad.

Next, transfer the file SpeakerCompass.fmp12 to your iPad.

There are several ways to do it. Here are three:

1) Use AirDrop (on Mac) to send it.

2) Transfer with a file sharing program such as DropBox or Google Drive

If you use either of these two methods, then you'll need to find the file on your iPad, and then direct FileMaker Go to open it.

a) You could look in the File locations like Recent, Shared, or On My iPad. Or just type the file name into the Search box (pink oval). When you find it, just click on the file name (green box).

b) After clicking on the file, you will see a screen like this:

c) Click the Send To icon in the upper right corner of the screen, to open this selector window.

d) Click on the FileMaker Go icon and the program will open.

3) A third way to transfer the SpeakerCompass.fmp12 file to your iPad is using Apple Music.

a) Connect your iPad to your computer with a cable or wireless connection.

b) Open Apple Music, click Sync, and then choose the Files tab to display a list of all applications on your iPad.

c) Open a Finder window on your computer, and drag the SpeakerCompass.fmp12 file onto the FileMaker Go program icon in the iPad window to transfer the file to the FM Go application.

Speaker Compass performs almost the same on the iPad as a computer (Mac or Windows). But it is highly recommended to use an external keyboard with an iPad.

The screens and buttons have been adjusted to run on an iPad, so you may notice a slightly different configuration of the tabs, buttons, fields, and sliders. Also, an iPad can only display one window at a time, so there will be more windows switches when working on multi-window features like Calendar, or Presentation planner.

But you'll still be able to use all the features like the Customer Organizer, the Message Planner, And the Sales System.
